Volunteer!
There’s plenty of rewarding river work available.
Volunteers

Want to get involved?  Our watershed work depends on people willing to step up, volunteer, and dive into CRWC projects.  We would love your assistance and expertise.  Some of our needs are tidy, like data input, cataloguing, and phone-calling; others are in-the-field situations—river cleanup work, water quality testing, and setting up for special events.  You’ll have the satisfaction of helping improve our great river system, and you’ll receive the honest gratitude of our busy staff.  Plus, there’s reason to believe you’ll have a little fun while doing it.

So, why not volunteer?  Whether you’re a student, retiree, or just someone who is enthusiastic about rivers, we know you have something valuable to contribute.  Some positions are short term, with immediate goals attached; others last for extended periods and are more suited to long-range commitments.  See the descriptions below to find the opportunity that best suits your skills and schedule, or join our CRWC Volunteer Team to receive information about new volunteer opportunities, seminars and events by email each month.

Volunteers are making a difference.
